Working directly with the MD and reporting to the Chairman. Key deliverables:

  • Multi-lingual capabilities (recruitment and retention).
  • Funding rapid growth in turnover (tradition working).
  • Tight internal controls.
  • Comprehensive forward-looking cash flow management.
  • Extensive due diligence experience.

The Company was acquired by a major investment group allowing the family owners to crystallise the shareholdings and retire.

The company developed what was at the time leading-edge 3D visualization technology after diversifying from their “tradition” CAD/CAM roots.


This resulted in a significant level of interest from both VC’s and retail organizations.  The main roles were to support and control the due diligence processes and the day-to-day commercial negotiations with a broad range of stakeholders (existing shareholders, potential investors, potential acquirers, and large retailers).


The technology was successfully sold to a large US carpet manufacturer.

Worked closely with the MD and a small Malagasy-based team to help establish a retail presence for a Malagasy-based chocolate manufacturer in UK supermarkets.  Malagasy later won ethical consumer, startup business of the year, and chocolate awards.
